I'm just trying to get back to making and posting drawings on a regular basis. The left side was drawn on the subway ride in this morning. On the right is a blind contour drawing for just a minute ago.

Home Sick

I slept in today until nearly 2 pm which I think I needed because I'm finally feeling a bit better. I don't have a temperature but this is me being "classic" sick. I'm also wearing a tie and a cardigan which I can't really explain but just because you are sick doesn't mean you shouldn't look your best!

I should be up and functioning again tomorrow. Spending three days straight in my apartment is a bit maddening and now that my cough has subsided somewhat I think make it back into the world.

My Miele

More watercolor, this time filling in a drawing of the headtube of my Miele bicycle.

Polaroid Land Camera

Here is my Polaroid plastic Land Camera first outlined in finepoint Sharpie and then filled in with Caran d'Ache watercolor pencils. I enjoyed working with watercolor again but found the brush that came with the set to be somewhat difficult to work with. Also the Moleskin book I was using does not seem to accept water very quickly so it take too long for the color to dry. I would like to experiment with some proper water color paper sometime soon.
