Another self portrait. This is my first pencil drawing for my daily drawings and I used a Paper Mate Sharpwriter #2 pencil. It has a very fine lead that never dulls so I found it difficult to shade and render forms. As a result I look pretty flat and not very defined in terms of the from. It looks too chicken scratchy for my liking. I need to find a better pencil media to work with.-peter-

I like this sketch, may a dash of water colors would help with your tonal shading, I like it mommy!
Thanks! I like the watercolor idea. I'll give it a try on a future sketch or maybe work back into this one. It's on printer paper so it might be a bit thin.
