My drawing is on the left on blue paper, the original is on the right. I found this portrait and liked the technique and look so I thought I would give it a try. The original seems to be made with a brush rather than a pen so there is more variance in the character of the strokes.-peter-

woah. i really like this one. your drawing is also slightly from an angle, (don't know if it was intentional). the change in perspective changes the whole mood of the portrait.

I'm not sure how that happened but I totally turned his head to the right side a tiny bit.
