Animal Kingdom

Whew, what a week. Tomorrow will be seven straight days of my daily drawings. Today was the first time that it felt like chore, but I powered through and made a drawing. Both animals are drawn from food labels. The ram is from some kind of tequila and the parrot is from a can of condensed milk. I started with the ram and was not feeling it at all and was wanting to stop. The parrot was a bit easier to get into but in the end I rushed through both of these.

I'm sure there will always be days like this, no worries. One plan was to do some gesture drawings from fashion magazine spreads but that would entail scanning more than one drawing and I'm feeling lazy tonight. Maybe tomorrow.
